Scenes
This page contains mainly 'finished' pictures. This means that I reached a point where I was happy with the image as shown; it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm happy with it now! Some of them are merely doodles and explore quite narrow themes, usually an experiment with a particular method or algorithm, whilst others are more complete scenes with more care taken over lighting and composition. Perhaps unsurprisingly, many of the newer doodles look better than some of the older scenes...
You might notice that most of the more complete scenes are relatively old, whereas most of the newer images are simpler in content. This is because I've taken to keeping many development images from complete scenes; these are presented in the 'Projects' section together with some observations on the scene's creation. I don't have many, if any, development images from older scenes, so it seemed logical to put them elsewhere on the site.
The images are posted in reverse chronological order (i.e., new images will appear at the top of this page as I post them.
